On December 3, 2024, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar informed the Lok Sabha about the recent improvement in India-China relations along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) and said that India is “committed to engaging with China to arrive at fair, mutually acceptable framework for boundary settlement” while addressing the Lower House in the Winter Session.
