Amongst this, Shilpa Shirodkar’s stance with Vivian Dsena and Karan Veer Mehra has gained the maximum momentum for the show. So much so that the show’s former contestant Rajiv Adatia compared it to an immensely popular daily soap and a villainous character in it with Shilpa.
Rajiv Adatia, a former contestant of Bigg Boss 15, slammed the intense drama in the Bigg Boss 18 house. Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Rajiv compared the 18th season of Salman Khan’s reality show to the all-time popular television series Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. Rajiv, who was amongst the most loved contestants on the 15th season of the show for his unfiltered stance, pointed Shilpa Shirodkar to the initially strict character of the series “Kokila”, who ruled the house in the show. After his stint, Rajiv has been an ardent viewer of Bigg Boss seasons and never fails to express his opinion on the show. He tweeted, “Bigg Boss 18 has become Saath Nibhaana Saathiya and Shilpa ji as Kokila!! Too much drama!! It has become like a daily soap! #BB18.”

Soon, Rajiv’s X followers reacted to the post. One ardent viewer of the show said, “Karan nd Shilpa drama has become now too much boring,” while another mentioned, “Haa too much drama, Shilpa ji as Kokila, Vivian as Ahem, Chahata as Gopi, Karan as Jigar, Shruthika as Rashi, Sara as Urmila.” Another person wrote a hilarious comment that read, “Kokila behen nahi nahi ye to karan arjun movie ka itv version. Kvm shilpa ya shilpa vivan melodrama hi chalaraha hai.” “Itna sach nhi bolna tha,” read another comment.
For those unaware, the dynamics between Shilpa Shirodkar, Vivian Dsena, and Karan Veer Mehra on Bigg Boss 18 have flashed intense controversies. Even the show’s host, Salman Khan, confronted Shilpa for her inconsistent words and actions. Shilpa has always claimed that Karan Veer is her priority but her actions often seemed to favour Vivian, leaving viewers upset. Despite her claims of equality, Shilpa’s actions have often been perceived as biased.
